Nousek practices complex civil litigation as a Partner at Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP in Armonk, New York. Since joining the firm in 2006, she has represented clients in trial and appellate courts, including in product liability cases. A dedicated litigator, she has been part of trial teams winning six-figure verdicts and successfully defending clients in multimillion-dollar lawsuits. A skilled horsewoman who plays polo, Lisa M. Nousek won a jury verdict and significant punitive damages, as well as a reversal on the appellate level, after the trial court reduced the amount of punitive damages in a case involving fraud and other charges against a thoroughbred owner.
A New York-based attorney, Lisa M. Nousek performs pro bono work and also supports several worthy causes, including Friends of Karen, the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, and the Polo Training Foundation. For the last two years, she has sponsored the Friends of Karen Gardnertown Polo Benefit, and she also sponsored a 2012 Book Prize for a local high school student as a member of the Harvard-Radcliffe Club of Westchester. Ms. Nousek received a B.A. in Earth and Planetary Science from Harvard College and a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
